South Milwaukee Theater Arts

For decades, South Milwaukee High School has been known for its music and performing arts programs. This tradition continues today, and since 2004 our students have had the fortune to rehearse and perform in one of the finest facilities in Wisconsin, the South Milwaukee Performing Arts Center.

Our goal is to provide students with a place to build friendships, hone their confidence and creative skills and work collaboratively with each other to create excellent theater. Students take active roles on stage, backstage, in the pit and in the sound booth to create art that is enjoyed by the entire community.

Up next: Rabbit Hole

We’re pleased to introduce the new Advanced Theatre Series at South Milwaukee High School, giving students more advanced literary works to work on. Taking place June 21 and 22, the inaugural production of this program is Rabbit Hole by David Lindsay-Abaire, which won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama. Tickets are available now!
